Shot with Sony FS5 and iPhone camera
A live-action abstract piece to go along with Melanie Martinez's song "Soap". My partner and I mixed a series of abstract bubble shots with representational shots that partnered with the lyrics but also added exciting visuals. Together, we used different filming techniques, including using a macro lens in order to get the details that we wanted. We then used Premiere Pro to edit the clips together and incorporated color correction and time remapping to enhance the visuals.

With bath bombs and a fish tank, we were able to create this cool smoky, fog effect.
Bubbles are finicky actors but make for some great visuals. These close-ups were made by attaching a macro-lens to the camera.
